About Erin

Turning Complexity Into Clarity

For more than twenty years, I've worked in the space between product logic, interface design, and shipped digital work.

I'm usually the person brought in when the workflow is tangled, the dashboard has grown too complicated, or the customer-facing experience no longer reflects how the product actually works underneath.

My career began in fast-moving design environments, including a formative chapter living and working in New York City. That experience shaped a lot of how I still work: move quickly, communicate clearly, defend the quality bar, and make practical decisions under real constraints.

Most of my strongest work has been in complex web applications — product flows, dashboards, admin tools, customer-facing experiences, and the operational systems that connect them. I care about the interface, but I also care about the product logic, data models, tradeoffs, and implementation realities behind it.

I'm not interested in process for the sake of process. I care whether the product is getting clearer, easier to use, more visually polished, and more realistic for the team to ship.

I've managed designers and front-end developers, taught advanced product design at Tulane, and founded Kindred Campers, a community platform for families who camp. Across all of it, the best work has happened close to the user, close to the code, and close to the business reality.

Where this work shows up

Where that shows up.

Product work is easiest to judge when you can see what changed — the flow, the interface, the team alignment, or the thing that finally shipped.

Multi-Tenant SaaS Platform

SaaS platform · 75+ client websites · dashboards · workflows

  • I led UX/UI direction across customer-facing rental flows, admin dashboards, and platform experiences.
  • I managed designers and front-end developers, raising the quality bar across shipped work.
  • I partnered closely with engineering to align design intent with implementation.
  • I created reusable product patterns across themes, templates, and operational workflows.
  • I used AI-assisted workflows to prototype, validate, and communicate product decisions quickly.
  • I connected product logic, interface clarity, and business outcomes so work shipped faster and made more sense.

AI-Assisted Product Quality Workflow

Functional health · AI-enabled QA workflow

  • I designed a decision-support workflow that pairs human judgment with automation.
  • I reduced review burden without pretending the machine should make the final call.
  • I helped specialists identify, prioritize, and resolve experience issues before they reached users.
  • I shaped the product around what the team could realistically sustain.

Kindred Campers

Founder · product design · strategy

  • I founded a trust-based family discovery platform from concept through launch.
  • I made founder-level decisions across positioning, safety, pricing, legal, and product scope.
  • I designed onboarding, identity, community health, and trip-planning systems that scale carefully.
  • I built close to the user, the business model, and the real constraints of a small product.

Tulane Teaching & Mentorship

Advanced product design curriculum

  • I designed a curriculum around product judgment, practical decision-making, and design clarity.
  • I taught designers to think in systems and product logic instead of polishing screens.
  • I helped practitioners handle ambiguity, stakeholders, and real constraints.
  • I structured a learning experience that valued outcomes over process theater.
Reputation

What I'm known for.

  • 01Seeing the product problem underneath the interface problem.
  • 02Turning vague ideas into workflows and screens a team can actually build.
  • 03Getting founders, product, design, and engineering pointed at the same thing.
  • 04Balancing user needs, business constraints, visual polish, and what can realistically ship.
  • 05Designing with engineers, not over the wall from them.

I'm happiest when the product is actually getting better — clearer, more useful, more polished, and easier for the team to build. If your team needs a hands-on product design leader who can untangle the logic and design the experience, I'd love to talk.
